Independent Thermador repair, done on the first visit where we can
We work on one manufacturer and nothing else. That is what lets us arrive knowing how a given product line behaves after fifteen years in a Mandarin kitchen, rather than reading the manual in your driveway.
The work
Most faults are smaller than they look
The complaint that arrives on the phone is a description of a consequence. An oven that bakes but shows a dark panel, a dishwasher that runs but forgets which cycle it was set to, a refrigeration column that cools correctly but stops reporting its temperature — all three sound like a dead control, and all three are frequently a connector, a sagging hinge, a restricted grille or a supply that dips when three appliances start together.
So we work in a fixed order and we do not skip to the expensive part. The appliance is made to confirm the symptom in front of us, the supply and the airflow are measured before anything is condemned, and the estimate comes with the reasoning attached so you can see why a part is on it. Where the installation is the fault rather than the appliance, we put that in writing instead of selling you a component.
Before we quote a board
- Reproduce the symptom on the appliance, not from the description alone.
- Measure the supply at the outlet, at rest and while the appliance draws.
- Find what else shares that circuit and what tends to start at the same time.
- Check harnesses and connectors at both ends before the board itself.
- Price the part in writing, with what it will and will not fix.
The houses
Kitchens that predate the column era
Most of Mandarin was built between the 1970s and the 1990s, on lots generous enough that kitchens were extended rather than rebuilt. Along Mandarin Road the riverfront houses are older again. Either way, the original opening was not drawn for a full-height refrigeration column or a built-in coffee machine.
So retrofits are the normal case here, not the exception. Tight ventilation clearance and a missing dedicated circuit change what a fault means and what a sensible fix looks like.

How we work
One manufacturer, one price for the first visit
$129 flat diagnostic covers the trip and the diagnosis, and it comes off the total when you approve the repair. You get a written estimate before any part is ordered or any repair begins.
Ninety days on our labour, three hundred and sixty-five days on the parts we install.
How the diagnostic fee works · What the warranty covers
- EPA Section 608. Technicians hold EPA Section 608 certification for handling sealed refrigerant systems.
- Independent. We work for the homeowner, not for a manufacturer or a warranty administrator.
- Genuine OEM parts. Replacement parts are ordered to the model and serial on your appliance data plate.
What we fix
Repairs
-
Thermador wall oven repair in Mandarin
Ovens that will not hold a set temperature, doors that will not unlock after a clean cycle, and control boards that quit after a storm.

Thermador refrigeration and column repair in Mandarin
Columns and built-ins that drift warm, frost over, run constantly or stop making ice, diagnosed by measurement rather than by parts swapping.
-
Thermador steam and combination oven repair
Most steam oven faults we see begin as deposit in the generator, the fill line or the drain rather than as a failed board, and they announce themselves early.
-

Burners that will not light or will not simmer, ovens that miss their set point, and the gas supply problems that get blamed on the appliance.
-

Induction zones that cut out, gas burners that will not simmer, and touch controls that stop responding once the cabinet below gets warm.
-

Dishes coming out gritty, cycles that will not drain, doors that drop and top racks that come out wet — and which of those is the appliance and which is not.
-
Thermador ventilation and hood repair in Mandarin
Hoods that are quiet but no longer pull, blowers that hum without turning, downdrafts that stall halfway, and ductwork that was never right to begin with.
Common questions
Before you call
- What does the first visit cost?
- A flat $129 covers the trip and the diagnosis. If you approve the repair, that $129 comes off the total. You get a written estimate before any part is ordered.
- Do I find out the price before the work starts?
- Yes. Once the fault is identified we write the estimate down, part and labour separately, and wait for your decision. Nothing is ordered until you say so.
- What is covered after the repair?
- Ninety days on our labour and three hundred and sixty-five days on the parts we install. Keep the invoice; it carries the model and serial we worked from.
- Are the parts genuine?
- We order genuine OEM parts against the model and serial numbers on your appliance data plate, not a generic equivalent chosen by shape.
